PROVO, Utah – The police report involving the arrest of BYU basketball starter Kennard Davis Jr. was first obtained by the Deseret News and then by KSL Sports on Tuesday.
Last Thursday, Davis was arrested by the Provo Police Department after responding to a crash at the intersection of 900 West Center Street.
During that accident investigation on Thursday, according to a press release from Provo PD, “officers found cause to place one of the drivers from the accident – Kennard Davis, aged 20 – under arrest for suspected DUI.”
In a synopsis of the redacted police report, Davis is cited for DUI and possession of marijuana.
