SHERMAN, Texas — After an FBI investigation that led to a guilty plea, 65-year-old John Prentice Robertson from Aubrey, Texas, has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for producing pornography involving children.
In a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Texas, officials say Robertson communicated with women in the Philippines and paid them to film and take pictures of children under the age of 12 in "sexually explicit content." The women then sent the videos and images back to him through social media or live-stream applications.
Robertson paid these women more than $8,000 over the span of six years for the graphic content. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced in October.
