JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Duval Doge Committee is taking concerns about the city’s telehealth contractor, Telescope Health, a step further.
This comes just a week after members first raised allegations of fraud.
Committee member Rory Diamond compiled a list of dozens of questions directed toward the Jacksonville-based company , contracted through the Healthlink JAX program to help uninsured patients see a doctor or nurse online through video instead of in person.
He’s asking whether fraud happened, and how much value they provide to the City of Jacksonville.
“Just get to the truth. Because people will sleep at knowing that they’re tax dollars are being used wisely, they’ll feel better about all of it,” said Diamond.
