JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The sisters of a woman who died after a dental procedure in Jacksonville in 2023 are speaking out after learning another patient died during a procedure with the same dentist two years later at a different dental office. Darlene Krause-Clemence and her twin sister, Doreen Lane, say the revelation has renewed their grief and raised urgent questions about accountability.
They learned from our reporting that 44-year-old Roy Estes III died in October at a Ponte Vedra dental office during a full-mouth dental implant procedure with Dr. Francesco Sebastiani, who now goes by Dr. Franco. He had previously performed a dental procedure that led up to Colleen Krause Straw's death.
