Changes could come to Jefferson Street as neighbors weigh plans for underutilized space

After completing a Jefferson Street Corridor Study, community leaders have focused on tightening Jefferson Street between 8th Avenue, Rosa L. Parks Boulevard and Ed Temple Boulevard. To make the most of their space, leaders suggested squeezing traffic lanes together to give them more room for things like beautification, street trees, and more lighting.
