SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Governor Larry Rhoden officially announced his reelection campaign at the Hotel Alex Johnson in Rapid City on Tuesday, November 18.
The announcement regarding a gubernatorial run from Rhoden has been eagerly awaited.
“I am running for a full term as Governor of South Dakota!” said Rhoden.
“I’ve remained focused on keeping our state strong, safe, and free. And I’m going to keep doing the people’s work. Because when I’m working, South Dakota’s winning.”
A recent poll placed Rhoden statistically tied with Congressman Dusty Johnson for the lead in the race, even before Rhoden entered it.
