MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man has died after being hit by a train, Madera Police say.
Officers responded to a call around 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday about a pedestrian who was hit by a train off Gateway Drive and Third Street.
When they arrived, they found a 52-year-old man dead near the railroad tracks.
Detectives say there was no sign of foul play. The incident is still under investigation.
Madera PD would like to remind everyone to use caution when walking or driving near railroad tracks.
