KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department is still looking for the male suspect in a shooting that took place early Sunday morning on I-640 West.

No one has been charged, but police said they are pursuing strong leads. The Ford Bronco that the suspect escaped in was found abandoned in Kentucky.

Tragedy struck the families of Troy Hutchison and Rodrell Jeter. The two men were killed in an early morning shooting while riding through the Knoxville area. A third man remains in the hospital. Candace Ashford, the mother of Jeter, said the two are cousins.

She said they grew up together in Detroit, Michigan and they died together.
