BENTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — The family of Kevin Nikel is speaking out about his relationship with the two suspects now charged in his death and what may have happened the night he was shot.

In July 2025, Nikel, known to many as the Arkansas-based wrestler Ivan Warsaw, was found suffering from a gunshot wound along Highway 12 near Rogers in Benton County.

He was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Months later, on Nov. 17, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) arrested Michael Hogue and Amanda Penny in connection to Nikel's alleged murder.

The USMS said Hogue was arrested in Fort Smith on a first-degree murder charge and Penny was arrested in Rogers as an accomplice to first-degree murder charge. Both face additional firearm possession charges.
