COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Tuesday night, many are waiting to see if President Trump will sign a measure that would force the release of the Epstein files.
The bill, called The Epstein Files Transparency Act, cleared both chambers of congress Tuesday afternoon.
The Senate gave it’s approval before formally receiving the bill for debate. Senators announced they had unanimously agreed to approve the measure once it leaves the house, sending it to President Trump’s desk from there.
The House passed the bill almost unanimously. One nay vote came from Republican Representative Clay Higgins of Louisiana. All eight of Colorado’s representatives were among the 427 voted to release the files.
