BROOKLIN, Maine (WABI) - A probation officer for former gubernatorial candidate Eliot Cutler has filed a motion to revoke Cutler’s probation.
That’s according to the Ellsworth American.
In May 2023, Cutler was convicted of four counts of possession of sexually explicit material of a minor under the age of 12.
He pleaded guilty and served seven months behind bars.
Cutler’s probation is scheduled to end June of 2030.
The newspaper says according to court documents, the 79-year-old Cutler allegedly violated the terms of his probation this fall by accessing sexually explicit content online and by possessing unmonitored devices.
A hearing on the motion to revoke Cutler’s probation is scheduled for December 16th.
