FRANKFORT, Ky. —
Kentucky's General Assembly will convene in January for 2026 session, and Mayor Craig Greenberg is asking state lawmakers to help continue to improve Louisville.
Greenberg laid out his priorities for the upcoming legislative session in Frankfort on Tuesday.
One of those priorities is requesting state funding for TARC.
"With the recent decrease in TARC services, we need state funding so that we can expand from where TARC is today," he said. "We have done a tremendous job over the past couple of years under new leadership at TARC, of improving the on-time percentages for buses and improving the cleanliness, improving the safety and reliability of TARC system."
With the additional funding, Greenberg would like to see TARC be able to serve more of the community, including
