PHOENIX — The city of Tempe is exploring changes to speed limits on seven roadways and asking for public input about the possible reductions.
Two meetings will be held on Dec. 9, one at noon and the other at 6 p.m. at the Pyle Adult Recreation Center.
The proposed changes would impact the following roads: • Broadway Road from Terrace Road to the east city limit would be reduced from 45 mph to 40 mph • Broadway Road from Priest Drive to the west city limit would be reduced from 45 mph to 40 mph • Priest Drive from Alameda Drive to Baseline Road would be reduced from 45 mph to 40 mph • Guadalupe Road from Kyrene Road to the east city limit would be reduced from 45 mph to 40 mph • Veterans Way/Fifth Street from University Drive to Farmer Avenue would be reduced from 30 mph to 25 m
