MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is seeking public input on long-term solutions for the Beltline as part of a comprehensive study examining safety, accessibility and infrastructure concerns along the 20-mile corridor.

The study focuses on three distinct geographic areas of the heavily traveled route. "We broke up the corridor into essentially three different areas. So, we have an area west of Verona Road. So essentially Whitney Way to the west. We have the Verona Road area and then an area east of Verona Road, essentially where the flex line has been implemented," said Michelle Howe of Wis-DOT.
