MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Two people were seriously injured Tuesday morning when their minivan crashed into a concrete barrier at the Bedford tolls.

New Hampshire State Police said the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on the Everett Turnpike.

Both people were taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Three dogs were also in the vehicle, two of which were killed.

Three southbound toll lanes were closed for more than two hours while crews responded.

While speed appears to be a factor, the crash remains under investigation.
