ATLANTA — A man is facing murder and several other charges in connection with a deadly shooting that happened last week in Atlanta.
Warrants show Georgio Glover is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, false statements, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission or attempt to commit a crime. The warrants list 35-year-old Jamarius Woodruff as the victim who was fatally shot.
APD said it responded to the 3000 block of Middleton Road NW shortly after 6:15 p.m. on Nov. 12. When they arrived, police found the man hurt from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries, APD said.
