(WNDU) - The College Football Playoff (CFP) selection committee released its third rankings of the 2025 season on Tuesday night, and both Notre Dame and Indiana hold the same rankings they had a week ago .

The Fighting Irish (8-2) are at No. 9 while the Hoosiers (11-0) are at No. 2 — the same spots they were also ranked in the most recent AP poll released this past Sunday .

Based on ESPN’s projected playoff bracket, Notre Dame would travel to No. 8 Oklahoma for the first round. The winner would move on to play No. 1 Ohio State in the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, Indiana would get a first-round bye and face the winner of No. 7 Oregon vs. No. 10 Alabama in the quarterfinals.
