Michelin obsessives, it’s the night you’ve been waiting for. Tonight, the tire company announced DC’s latest round of starred and Bib Gourmand restaurants in a Philadelphia ceremony. Perhaps you’ve already heard some of the big news: Michelin announced last week that the Inn at Little Washington, previously the region’s only three star establishment, was being downgraded from three to two stars, along with Masa (New York) and Alinea (Chicago).
Turns out, that was the only big news. There were no new additions (or subtractions, with the exception of Reverie, which closed) to DC’s starred restaurants. Womp.
When it comes to the more affordable Bib Gourmand selections, there were two DC additions: Shaw sandwich-and-cocktail destination Your Only Friend and Bloomingdale pho counter PhoXotic.
