Jaden Ivey is making decent progress towards his return to the court for the Detroit Pistons .

On Tuesday, there was a positive development for the young veteran guard. The Pistons assigned Ivey to the team’s NBA G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise.

“The Detroit Pistons announced today that guard Jaden Ivey has been assigned to the Motor City Cruise, the G League affiliate of the Pistons, as he continues his build up for return to play,” the Pistons wrote in an official statement.

Since going down with an injury on January 1, Ivey has yet to make his return during the regular season for the Pistons.
