PARKSTON, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Avera St. Benedict and the Parkston Commercial Club have secured a $28,000 multi-year grant to present free outdoor concerts.

The grant covers costs at the Parkston Amphitheater over the next three years.

Funded by the Levitt Foundation , the grant will support 7-10 concerts per year, bringing live music to the community and revitalizing public spaces.

The award follows a public voting process and a national review of applicants, making Parkston one of several towns to benefit from the Levitt program.
