SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Teachers make a difference wherever they are, and more are needed throughout the state.
The state’s e-learning program is giving some South Dakota educators the ability to teach anywhere.
Lori Wagner, a former Webster teacher, is one of about 30 who teach full-time through the e-learning program.
Her virtual classroom connects with students statewide, especially those in remote areas who lack access to a certified math teacher.
“When I needed something different, this came along, and here it was. I had a great relationship with the students, which is really something that I focus on in my teaching. Not only do I want them to learn the material, but I also want them to you know feel good about themselves and good about education in general,” Wagner
