An inmate escaped while on work release in Little Rock on Tuesday, according to a news release from the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

Wayne Schutz, 25, was reported missing from his work release assignment from Prospect Steel at the Port of Little Rock on Tuesday afternoon, the release says.

Police suspect Schutz may have fled in a white 2015 Dodge pickup truck, license plate number 1DYXN, the release says. He is serving an eight-year sentence at the Benton Work Release Unit for a breaking and entering conviction from Faulkner County, the release says.

A description in the release listed him as being white and 6 feet tall, and weighing 216 pounds.
