A 62-year-old motorcyclist who clung to a P-plater's bonnet for 1.3 kilometres during a road rage attack has been banned from driving for eight months.
John Stanley Turner faced the Mildura Magistrates' Court on Monday where he pleaded guilty to five offences including affray, dangerous driving and property damage.
Dash camera vision played in court and later released showed Turner leaping onto the bonnet of a car in Mildura, in north-west Victoria, on February 27.
During a six-and-a-half minute ordeal, Turner threw his helmet at the car's windscreen, smashed the driver's side mirror and tore at a windscreen wiper while being driven five-blocks to the nearest police station.
The victim, who was not named by the court, was a P-plate driver with four passengers.
