A woman faces murder charges following a shooting that happened in August on Torrance Drive.

According to Huntsville Police, the shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 18 on the 4400 block of Torrance Drive . Officers say they responded to the scene and found a man with a gunshot wound. Police say Shaquon Moore, 30, of Huntsville, later died from his injuries.

Police arrested Shaquasia Similton on Tuesday and charged her with homicide in connection with the shooting. A 14-year-old was arrested in August and is also charged with murder in the shooting death of Moore.

Similton is currently being held in the Madison County Jail without bond.
