Shane and Michelle Perrin say they knew their son, 34-year-old Josh Perrin was a good guy. But after his death, as more stories are told, they say he's even better than they knew.
"I was proud of him," Shane told KETV.
The Perrins say Josh would do anything for anyone. He was working to become an engineer.
Josh Perrin was shot and killed in his home, near the front, after answering the door a week ago Tuesday evening, his parents told KETV. It was near 56th and Hamilton Streets.
The Omaha Police Department's suspect, 22-year-old Ve'Angelo Moore, was brought into custody Tuesday evening, a week after the shooting.
