OMAHA, Neb. —
A new rivalry formed on the football field, and it's all in good fun.
On Tuesday, Creighton hosted its first-ever "Turkey Bowl."
Several students took on the public safety staff in a flag football game.
It was a chance for people to relive their glory days of being on the football field with friends.
The winners even got a sweet treat!
"It would be a great opportunity for us to just get out into the community and do another event, do some outreach with not only our students, but faculty and staff if they want to join," said Kathy Gonzalez.
Both public safety staff and students said they plan to do the same event next year.
