Hoping the holiday spirit inspires an SB 50 veto from Gov. DeWine: Letter to the Editor

In the spirit of the season, here is a quick thought regarding Ohio Senate Bill 50 that would loosen child labor laws (“ Do the right thing, DeWine. Veto SB 50 ,” Nov. 17): “Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?” according to Ebenezer Scrooge in Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”

This bill is another way MAGA politicians seek to cater to their oligarchic masters so they can make bigger profits from, basically, child slave labor. They should be ashamed of themselves, and I hope Gov. DeWine does the right thing, and vetoes SB 50.
