Tomorrow is always a day away — and tomorrow is a day when a Sudbury audience will get to experience the new YES Theatre production of Annie.
The classic musical, featuring everyone’s favourite orphan (other than maybe Anne of Green Gables), will have a four-week run, with shows each Tuesday to Sunday, including weekend matinees.
“It’s definitely a family-friendly show and I think anyone can pull something from it and enjoy it,” says April Perrin, who plays the duplicitous gold-digger Lily in the production. “The music is so iconic, and I think it would be a beautiful family Christmas activity.”
Many know the story, either from seeing the musical performed elsewhere or watching one of several movie versions, and will likely be able to sing along to many of the numbers.
