An investigation is underway after a person broke into a shop in San Diego's Rolando neighborhood and stole nearly $12,000 worth of Pokémon cards and memorabilia over the weekend.
The incident happened at BLVD Mart on El Cajon Boulevard at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Police say the thief entered the business by breaking the front glass door with a tool and took off after stealing the trading cards and memorabilia.
No suspect was in custody as of Tuesday, officials said.
Anyone with information was asked to contact the police department.
