AMHERST, Mass. -- University of Massachusetts women’s basketball (4-0, 0-0 MAC) used a hot start to cruise to an 85-45 win against UMass Lowell (2-2, 0-0 MAAC) on Tuesday at the Mullins Center. The Minutewomen opened the contest with a 34-point first quarter, which included a 21-0 run.
