SPENCER — North Rowan flattened Thomasville 63-23 in non-conference girls basketball on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers were winners in Jarvis Miller’s debut as head coach.
North started slowly with an eight-point first quarter, but started clicking in the second quarter and pulled away.
Kanya Cowan scored a career-best 14 points. She had eight in the fourth quarter.
Adrionna King scored seven of her career-high 13 in the second quarter to help get the Cavs going.
Freshmen Camonie Council and Melanie Parker debuted with 10 and eight points, respectively.
North also got eight from Zakiya Oglesby.
