Miami's Keionte Scott reportedly done for season with foot injury

Miami Hurricanes defender Keionte Scott suffered a right foot injury is won't return this season, coach Mario Cristobal said Monday.

This is a tremendous blow to Miami, who still has an outside chance to make the College Football Playoff in the final week. Scott was injured against Syracuse on Nov. 8 and was wearing a walking boot on the sideline during last week's game against NC State.

Cristobal was asked Monday about Scott's status and if would play again this season, and said it's unlikely at this point. Miami has been banged up throughout the season and dealt with many injuries down the stretch.

Scott has been Miami's most productive cornerback this season. He's currently second with 44 tack
