Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday congratulated Rajouri district after it was honoured by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, for its outstanding performance under the Jal Sanchay–Jan Bhagidari initiative.

The award recognises Rajouri’s exemplary efforts in promoting community-led water conservation and sustainable resource management.

LG Sinha praised Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and the district administration for their commitment, saying the recognition reflects the region’s dedication to safeguarding natural resources through public participation.
