Abhay Verma became quite the sensation after his debut in Munjya. Recently, the actor spoke to the Hindustan Times and opened up about his changing idea of masculinity. He said that while Ranbir Kapoor’s character in Animal was an alpha male, even his character in Munjya was an alpha as he tried to save his family from a ghost.

Abhay Verma said, “I have grown up in Haryana, where I saw manliness being described in terms of power. And the power was not about being influential, but in terms of your body structure and how much you could use it to intimidate people.
