President Droupadi Murmu attended the fifth convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi in New Delhi on Wednesday, calling on young graduates to contribute to India’s scientific and technological growth with a focus on social welfare. NITs function under the Ministry of Education.
In her address, the President said NIT Delhi has established a strong academic presence in a short span of time and appreciated its emphasis on modern infrastructure and academic excellence.
