CHAPEL HILL — Henri Veesaar didn’t walk into the lounge area outside of the UNC basketball locker room until roughly 30 minutes after the Tar Heels’ fifth victory of the season.

With its 73-61 victory against Navy , UNC (5-0) remained undefeated and became the third program in college hoops history to reach 2,400 wins, joining a blue-blood list that includes Kansas (2,417) and Kentucky (2,425).

But Veesaar and the Tar Heels weren’t in a celebratory mood as they slowly trickled in and sat down in chairs for postgame interviews.

Leading by 24 points with just under five minutes left, UNC watched the Midshipmen (2-3) finish the game on a 17-5 run, which included 15 straight points. During that sluggish stretch, the Heels had the same amount of turnovers (3) as points (3).
