During the holiday season, shoppers will want to keep their eyes on shipping deadlines to ensure presents or cards are delivered in time for the big day.

On Dec. 14, National Fr ee Shipping Day will give everyone throughout the United States the chance to send gifts or cards without paying shipping fees from participating retailers.

Here are the 2025 holiday shipping deadlines from USPS, UPS and FedEx to ensure your packages arrive before Dec. 25.

USPS holiday shipping deadlines

For the 48 contiguous states in the U.S before Dec. 25:

Dec. 17 : USPS Ground Advantage and First Class Mail.

Dec. 18 : Priority Mail.

Dec. 20 : Priority Mail Express.

For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. territories:

Dec. 16 : USPS Retail Ground.

Dec. 17: First Class Mail.

Dec. 18 : Priori
