Upasana Kamineni Konidela, entrepreneur and wife of actor Ram Charan, triggered an intense debate, suggesting women should "freeze eggs" to have kids later and focus on their careers. Her career counselling of women at IIT Hyderabad was attacked by a large section of people, including doctors and influencers.

"The biggest insurance for women is to freeze their eggs. Because then you can choose when to get married, when you want to have kids, on your own terms, when you are financially independent," Upasana Konidela said in a video she shared on her X handle.
