With a cornucopia of flavors on the table, Thanksgiving dinner is the easiest and hardest meal to pair a wine with. There are absolutely no rules for this holiday chow-down.
Most feasts have turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes and stuffing. Not too complicated. But what about white meat versus dark meat? How about tart cranberry salad? Don’t forget candied yams with brown sugar and marshmallows. Then you have my Italian peeps with rigatoni and meatballs in red sauce. Mamma mia!
Do you see what I’m talking about? You can go red, white or rosé.
