WESTFIELD — Approximately 20 people virtually attended the Westfield Safety Action Plan for Safe Streets for All on Nov. 17. Assistant Civil Engineer Joe Kietner, a Task Force member, introduced Eric Weis, project manager from Bowman Consulting, to review the team’s analysis of crash data from 2016-2021, the last completed year, and public input collected by the task force to date.

Task Force team members include, among others, Kietner and Matt Gamelli from the city’s Engineering Department, Mayor Mike McCabe, DPW Director Randal Brown, Fire Chief Patrick Egloff, Emergency Management Director Ronald Gibbons, Ward 3 City Councilor Bridget Matthews-Kane, Westfield Police Capt. Eric Hall and Sgt. Juanita Mejias, Westfield Public Schools Transportation Manager Pamela Kotarski and City Planner
