A high-pressure system over southern New England will lead to a dry and cool Wednesday across Massachusetts, with light winds and seasonable temperatures.
Temperatures across the Bay State should reach the mid to high 40s on Wednesday, with overcast skies along the South Coast but sunshine in northern parts of the state. The vast majority of the state will see dry conditions throughout the day, but a wave of low pressure passing south of the region could bring light showers to Nantucket.
Overnight, temperatures are expected to drop to the teens or low 20s.
The weather pattern for Thursday looks much like Wednesday’s, with highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s and a mix of sun and clouds.
