As Massachusetts has seen a few snow flurries this winter, Mount Washington has become a winter wonderland.

Researchers at Mount Washington Observatory in New Hampshire have measured well above average snowfall for the month of November. On Nov. 15, the observatory posted on Facebook that it had gotten 42.5 inches of snow. A few days later, on Nov. 19, WCVB reported the area had gotten 60.1 inches of snow so far this month.

The average snow for November on Mount Washington is 35.6 inches with records dating back to 1932.

However, the most snow recorded at Mount Washington Observatory in November is 86.6 inches in 1968.
