The man suspected of carrying out the Huntingdon train attack has been hit with additional charges.

Anthony Williams, 32, of Langford Road, Peterborough, is set to appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court this afternoon, facing seven more offences, British Transport Police (BTP) said.

The new charges relate to incidents that allegedly took place on October 31, the day before the train attack.

Williams has been charged with:

Attempted murder of a 14-year-old boy at Henry Penn Walk, Peterborough

Attempted grievous bodily
