Violence erupted on a train travelling from London to Birmingham, resulting in multiple fights and an assault on a train guard at Birmingham International Railway Station. The incidents occurred on Saturday, September 13, between 8pm and 9pm. Initially, a man was attacked by three others, who punched and kicked him to the ground. This altercation was eventually broken up, but the injured passenger soon found himself in another confrontation with two different men. As the train arrived at Birmingham International Railway Station, a guard attempted to intervene in yet another fight between two passengers. During this intervention, the guard was assaulted. In response to the violence, British Transport Police have released CCTV images of four men they wish to speak to regarding the incidents. The first suspect is described as white, with short brown hair shaved at the sides, of stocky build, and wearing a red T-shirt. The second man is also white, bald on top with grey hair, dressed in a black T-shirt, and has a tattoo on his arm. The third individual is white, wearing a black cap and sunglasses, and is seen in a black Dsquared2 long-sleeve top featuring the brand name and 'Milano' on the front. The fourth suspect is white, with short brown hair, and wearing a black top. A spokesperson for British Transport Police stated, "Do you recognise these men? Officers have released these images in connection with an investigation into a fight on board a train from London to Birmingham in September that resulted in a member of railway staff being assaulted." The spokesperson further detailed the events, saying, "Between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday 13 September, a man was assaulted by a group of three other men as he was punched and kicked onto the floor. The fight was broken up, and the man who was assaulted then got into a fight with two other men." The police are urging anyone who recognises the individuals in the images to come forward.
