Anmol Bishnoi, one of India’s most notorious crime fugitives and the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was brought back to the country on Wednesday afternoon after being extradited from the United States.
Upon his arrival in Delhi, officials from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) immediately took him into custody and are taking him to the Patiala court. Anmol, who has been evading Indian authorities for years, is wanted in at least 18 criminal cases, including the high-profile conspiracy to murder former Maharashtra minister and senior NCP leader Baba Siddique.
