The man accused in the shooting death of Tanya Myers is scheduled to appear at the Court of King’s Bench in Weyburn for a bail hearing on Wednesday morning.

Chris Fahlman, 42, is facing a charge of second-degree murder. Fahlman was originally charged with manslaughter when he was arrested on November 1, but the charge was upgraded by the Crown last week.

He also faces charges of careless use of a firearm, carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence and occupying a motor vehicle knowing there is a firearm inside.

Fahlman has been in custody
