The bail hearing for the man accused of second-degree murder in the death of Tanya Myers is set to continue Thursday morning.

Chris Fahlman, 42, appeared at the Court of King's Bench in Weyburn on Wednesday for the first day of his show cause hearing.

The proceedings ran for the majority of the day before Justice Michael Morris adjourned the matter. The hearing will resume in Weyburn on Thursday at 10 a.m.

Fahlman, dressed in jeans and a grey dress shirt, sat in the prisoner's dock behind his defense counsel. He remained largely stoic, staring forward for much of the proceedings, though he occasionally looked down, shaking his head at various points during the hearing.
