The Weyburn Humane Society successfully concluded another online auction on Monday, which raised just over $3,000, which will go into the animal shelter's general operating fund for items that can't be donated.

"It was a little smaller than the last one we did, but we still raised quite a bit of money," shared Shelter Worker Cayla Shelly. "We would like to thank the community for supporting us, like always, and thank everybody who did donate and who bid on items. Quite a bit of it has been picked up already, but there's still a few more things to be picked up."

She said they will probably be doing another online auction in March, for which they will take donations of items once it is announced.

Currently, the WHS animal shelter has 34 cats, as well as 15 dogs on-site and four in foster
