The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office arrested a man on Tuesday after a shooting over hot water.

Deputies were first called to the North Baldwin Infirmary after a man came to the emergency room with wounds to the torso, thigh and hand. The victim told police his neighbor in the Crossroads community shot him.

Investigators responded to the scene where they found 65-year-old Herbert Eddie Killcreas at his residence on Wiggins Lane, just 100 yards from the victim's home on Dixon Road.

Killcreas admitted he shot the victim. Detectives determined Killcreas was taking a shower at the victim's home when Killcreas accused him of turning off the hot water. He walked outside to his truck, retrieved his shotgun, and fired a shot in the direction of the victim.
