Light rain mixed with snow in some areas is moving through the Lehigh Valley region early Wednesday, with precipitation expected to taper off by midday and conditions gradually improving throughout the afternoon.
At Lehigh Valley International Airport, the National Weather Service official climate station reported light rain, fog and mist through the early morning hours. Some wet snow could be seen melting quickly on windshields in nearby Bethlehem.
To the north and west, WFMZ-TV 69 reported two-hour delays Wednesday in some school districts across Schuylkill, Carbon and Monroe counties.
